Frequently Asked Questions

First, thank you for taking time out of your schedule to check out Red Oak Baptist Church! We look forward to getting to know you better and hope the info you find here will help.

What Will the Experience Be Like?

The Sunday service, and any worship gathering at ROBC, are all about making much of Jesus. Since we are gathering for a celebration, we worship passionately and the Word of God is taught boldly.

Our Worship experience includes singing  led by a worship team & band, choir, giving, creative elements, and a message that is focused on explaining the Bible and applying it to our daily lives.

Generally, our worship time is held in the worship center but on the 4th and 5th Sundays, as well as some special occasions and holidays, we meet in the Family Life Center located directly behind the worship center. However, during this time of COVID-19, we are meeting for worship only in the Family Life Center so we can have the socially distancing space needed.

What Do I Wear?

At ROBC, we encourage you to come as you are. God sees our heart and that's what He cares about; it's not the style of clothing we choose. Just so you'll know, most people attend wearing business casual attire. Don't be surprised if you see a few suits and ties, as well as people wearing jeans.

What About Our Kids?

We have Life Groups for all ages at 9:45 a.m. During the service we provide child care for our smallest attenders (babies and toddlers). For preschoolers - 2nd grade we offer Children's Church each week. For 3rd-5th grades there is Kids Worship on the 2nd and 4th Sundays .
